Naftali Hershtik singing Mimkomcha

I was at this concert in 2003 at Lincoln Center. The song made an impression on me.
(Notice that Cantors World released it as Malovani singing it)

And I don't know Herstik that well, but thid DOES kinda sound like Malovany.

Oh! That croak at 6:41 is Malovany's signature :) I think you remember the concert wrong...

still doesn't answer the question why he decided to sing afterwords.i think all chazzanim should retire when they start losing their voice .stern made the mistake to sing when he was losing his voice ,and all anyone remembers is that he sounds terrible.

the original is probably from hershman
