Come My Beloved - Andy Statman Quartet

Good Shabbos!!!!!!!!!! Na na nai na na na, nai na na na, nai na na na, nai na na na, pinei shabbos ni-i-i-kablo...

We wish you an excellent Shabbos of meaning, peace and released-control. The service of Hashem is in the lowest place possible--a physical Mishkan--so as to have access to the highest contrast. But the Mishkan isn't the lowest place. YOU are. You in your office, in your kitchen, in your headspace are the most mundane thing ever. You are where G-d lets his Essential Opposite be looked for. Go dig this Shabbos!

Adir Ayom - Andy Statman Quartet

The album is called Between Heaven and Earth. But is it even? Or is it just Heaven?

He looks like this, for reference:

Nye Zuritzi - Andy Statman Quartet

This is such incredible and incredibly Jewish music! LOVE! Which is funny, because I have a special place in my heart for disliking klezmer. Oh, but Andy and his Quartet played at a wedding last night, and WOW! What a wedding! Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

Yom Shlishi, shehuchpal bo "Ki tov!" Here is Niggun Lishabbos viYom Tov. The cymbal action is re-dikiliss!

Aleh Brider - Itzhak Perlman and the Klezmatics

For the Festival of Friday.

Very long, very beautiful. The vocals kick in at 5:56:
Un mir zeinin aleh brider, oy oy, aleh brider, un mir zingen sheineh lider, Oy! Oy! Oy!

There's a smidgen of she-voice in here. Buyer beware.

Kah Echsof - Andy Statman

Mhmmm. Dass right. Dass completely correc. Love the bass-plucking-progresh from 1:48 and variations following.

MYSTAKE: I uploaded Amudai Sheish - Bilvovi instead of what I said I was uploading. Grr. Grrrrr.

Is it okay if I just place the correct one right...

here? Tx!

L'Chu Neraneno - Itzhak Perlman - Fiddler's House

Or as you may recognize the melody: "Shim'u, shim'u rabbotai..." BEEEautiful clarinet then french horn then accordion then frenzied-everything. With the vocal intro by our Klezmaniac friend Sklamberg.

Good Shabbos!
