Parnuseh - Yom Tov Ehrlech

I don't always know what he's talking about, but i know i like it!

Kol Hamiracheim - Abie Rotenberg

Classic Abie: So sad, you wanna jump for joy! Great orchestration in the intro and interludes.

Full of vocalist (un)surprises... No idea where this recording is from.

"A Karahod!"

So THIS is what a Karahod is!

Shvigaro - Dudu Fisher

Thanks for Last Night!

Just wanted to give a shout out to Benny, Shloimy Gertner, and Leonard for helping me through an (almost) all nighter. Here are my faves from last night:

Benny - Batuach Ani

Shloimy Gertner - Hashomayim

Leonard Cohen - Democracy

Vant (Oy Golus!) - Avraham FriedThe Good Old Days

Memories included.

Commercial Interruption - "Vote!"

A Monsey Robocall for yesterday's election...

Mekimi - Yosef Karduner

Moe was right.

Just beautiful.

Besides, I asked R' Yosef to play "Banai" from Nochi Krohn (see Nochi Krohn label, right) and he hesitated for second, unsure about which song I was referencing. Then he went "Oh! That was a beautiful song, wasn't it? I've never played it in concert. I don't know how it goes..." Or something. Yeah, Yosef, it really, really was.

Min Hameitzar - Yosef Karduner

Awesome concert/Kumzitz/Farbrengen last night! This was a crowd favorite.

Kol Zman Shehaneshama Bikirbi - Shlomo Artzi

This is a Belzer Niggun, a Tnuah really, that Shlomo Artzi ends up singing in studio. It looks like a collaborative "jam" of sorts in the late 80s. Whew! Whow!

Hat tip: Deep Awltirack.

Never on Friday - Dudu Fisher

A little bit of Dudu the Broadway performer, Dudu the kindergarten entertainer, Dudu the Chazzan. A lot of fun in every way anyway.

Shout-out and best wishes to SSY author Levi who will be running his annual twenty-six-point-two in New York this Sunday!

Good Shabbos, chevraya kadisha!

Eizehi Mekoimon - MBD

Inspired by Coolio in a comment on "A Sukkaleh a Kleine". Lyrics

Se'u Shearim - Shauli

Ber wants. Ber gets.

National Day of Al Kein Tzion - Cuz Ber Made Me

Shlomo Simcha - "Aneini"

Avraham Fried- "Around the Year II"

MBD - "MBD & Shira"
