Wow - you hit the nail on the head why many avoid accapella music during the 3 weeks and Sefira! There's just not much of a difference between the accapella and the instrumental - not enough to feel the mourning. My Rav has discouraged professional accapella for years. We have just a month and 1/2 to feel Klal Yisrael's Churbanos and seek a yeshua. Can't we seize the opportunity?
