I know Rabbi Mockin did record some songs with the Gan Yisroel camp choir years ago, but from the style and the Yiddish it sounds more like an old recording of Reb Dovid Werdyger and his choir.
Nice meeting you (again). You were very young when I was in Montreal in 1990 but I knew who you were. I knew your brothers Nachman and Schneur but I do not think they'd remember me.
Did Reb Dovid Werdyger also record that or as I now recall, did someone else online just inadvertently post that recording as his? I should have known from the voice that it was not DW. The Yiddish threw me off.
I don't remember your father, whom I certainly knew, ever taking the amud in shul but it has been 21 years since I was last in Montreal. Was he/is he a baal tefila?
