Yivoda Bagoyim • MBD (Memories)
Since this morning's Tehillim, I've had a crack team of investigative audiophiles investigating audio files. We knew it was "on an early-career MBD" but could not place it exactly. We sang every part of the song to identify likely title names, but did not think of Yevoda. We found it, though, because we tried. And trying for real, really works.

This description is perhaps melodramatic; but it took far longer and many more "hmmm, I'm not sure"s than usual, so the eventual find was that much more rewarding.

Exactly. But, Leibel, it's called "Lonely Rick's Niggun" as they sing toward the end...
Good choice, but should have made this a match-up. Originally recorded by his father, R' David, and also recorded by shwekey on the hisorerus album.
Ah, such classic Werdyger music. You've really been on target lately!
Hearing him and R" David his father sing it you hear the emotions of going through the holocaust.
