I know its not fair to Moshe Shur, to post his recital of Ve'al Yday right after Kwartin; but for those who've never heard Moshe, it gives you a glimpse of his [very real] talent.
He probably put "Hashem Tzvakos" on the first shtick and repeated "Ani rishon" twice instead so it would be "Ko Amar Hashem... Ani Rishon" instead of "Ko amar Hashem: Melech Yisroel Vigo'alo. Ani (Moshe Shur) Rishon..." Still no excuse. Ko Amar Ani (Avi Webb).
I never heard a more hartziger chazzan than kwartin .and his coloratura comes so naturally and his voice is so mellow .one of the best there ever was. a superbly controlled voice .but i want to hear from ganchoff and hershman and waldman .and if want tohear some magnificent chazzanus i suggest you buy koussevitzky's concert pieces there he lets his true talent be known.
