Ein Aroch • Abie Rotenberg/Shlomo Simcha

From "Made in Canada", a collection of compositions, arrangements and performances by Abie Rotenberg, Shlomo Simcha, Yaakov Motzin, Harvey Ehrlich.

I don't know that any of them are Canadian, but you know how Jewish music is, eh? Oh, you don't? It's like this:

Track 08 by Abie Rotenberg on Grooveshark

And, the Shabbos Mix is LIVE!

Actually 3 of them still live in Canada. Motzen was there 1978-2005. GIYF

Yes, but Shlomo Simcha is British, Motzen is Israeli, Rotenberg is a New Yorker (I think, but maybe he's Canadian), and I don't know about Ehrlich...

They are not, strictly speaking, Made in Canada.

And this is not relevant except that it made me think of the fact that Jewish Music has everything to do with culture and connection and nothing to do with geography or genre, the same way that Kosher Cuisine is now defined by Sushi.

Good Shabbos,

I think it just means that the album was Made In Canada.

I'm inclined to go with Ber. They were all living there (Canada) at the time....

The album notes say as much. Don't ask me how I know that.
